Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

AUTHOR GUIDELINES

Introduction

Exercise : Journal of Physical Education and Sport is national research articles which focused on for inovation, creativity and novelty. Exercise : Journal of Physical Education and Sport published by Undergraduate Program of Physical Education of Universitas Megarezky.

The aim of this Journal is to facilitate, collect and share scientific publication from conceptual concept or idea of Indonesia researcher, it also can participate to develop quality & quantity of research from scientisis and scholars. 

Exercise : Journal of Physical Education and Sport published for every May and November which concren to the result of research and study of critical analysis in term of Education, Sport, Physical Activity, Coaching, Recreational Sport, Sport Tourism, and Tradisional sport and games. All Journal will proces into peer reviewed before published and accesible for in open acces which can read, download, and share.  

 

General Author Guidelines

  1. The Manuscript should be written in Indonesian or English and have never been published or is not in the process of submission for publication to other media and does not contain elements of plagiarism.
  2. The Manuscript may take the form of research, case studies, or literary studies.
  3. The author should register as an author. The guides to register and submit the paper is at the bottom.
  4. The Manuscript will publish in Exercise : Journal of Physical Education after being reviewed by peer reviewers.
  5. The Manuscript should be prepared according to the following author guidelines and Template.
 
Manuscript Preparation Guidelines
Structure of the manuscripts
  1. Title. The title should be short, bright, and informative, but does not exceed 12 words. It has to be pinpoint with the issues discussed. The article title does not contain any uncommon abbreviation. The main ideas should be written first and followed then by its explanations.
  2. Author’s names and institutions. The author's names should be accompanied by the author's institutions, institutions address, and email addresses, without any academic titles and job title.
  3. Abstract. Abstracts are written in Indonesian and English. Abstract is made in one paragraph which consists of the background, objective, research methods, results, conclusions and keywords (3-5 phrases).
  4. Introduction. The introduction must contain (shortly and consecutively) a general background and a literature review (state of the art), the main research problems and research method. In the final part of the introduction, the purpose of the article writing should be stated.
  5. Methods: The method explains how the research is conducted, including research design, data collection, research instrument and analytic methods. This part should be narated.
  6. Result and Discussion. This part consists of the research results and how they are discussed. The results obtained from the research have to be supported by sufficient data.  The research results and the discovery must be the answers, or the research hypothesis stated previously in the introduction part. The following components should be covered in the discussion: How do your results relate to the original question or objectives outlined in the Introduction section (what/how)? Do you provide interpretation scientifically for each of your results or findings presented (why)? Are your results consistent with what other investigators have reported (what else)? Or are there any differences?
  7. Conclusions. Conclusion should answer the objectives of the research and the research discoveries. The concluding remark should not contain only the repetition of the results and discussions or abstract. You should also suggest future research and point out those that are underway.
  8. References. The literature listed in the References contains only the sources referenced or included in the article. Please use Reference Manager Applications like EndNote, Mendeley, Zotero, etc. Referral sources should provide 80% of journal articles, proceedings, or research results from the last five years. 

 The Guidelines for the Citations and References

All the served data or quotes in the article taken from the other author articles should attach the reference sources. The references should use a reference application management such as MendeleyEnd Note, or Zotero. The writing format that used in Exercise : Journal of Physical and Sport follows the format applied by APA 6th Edition (American Psychological Association).

 Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under aCreative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgment of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
  2. Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal.
  3. The Online Submission Manuscript Guidelines

The manuscript text must be submitted by one of two systems (the Second procedure is more preferable):

  1. The document should submitted by Online Submission System in the Exercise : Journal of Physical Education and Sport  E-journal portal.
  2. Firstly, the author should register as either an author or reviewer (checking role as author or reviewer) in the “Register”.
  3. After the registration step is completed, log in as an author, click in “New Submission”. The article submission stage consists of five stages, such as:  (1). Start, (2). Upload Submission, (3). Enter Metadata, (4). Upload Supplementary Files, (5). Confirmation.
  4. In the “Start” column, choose Journal Section (nearby Volume and Issue will publish), check all the checklists.
  5. In the “Upload Submission” Columns, upload the manuscript files in MSWord format in this column.
  6. In the “Enter Metadata” columns, fill in with all the author data and affiliation. Including the Journal Title, Abstract, Keywords, and References.
  7. In the “Upload Supplementary Files” columns, the author is allowed to upload supplementary files, the statement letter, or any other else.
  8. In the “Confirmation” columns, if the data you entered are all correct already, then click “Finish Submission”.

Author Fees

No fees incurred for article processing, submission, neither reviewing the articles.

Under the aforementioned condition, we are waiving in full for authors from developing countries should they need to submit papers to Jurnal SPORTIF: Jurnal Penelitian Pembelajaran.

However, should authors or other parties needed print/hard copies of the journal, an IDR 500,000 should be paid for the printing, binding, and post.
